Steve and I had our 20 week visit on Friday to determine our baby's gender. Everything checked out fine as far as measurements go but when it came time for the big reveal, our little one was quite modest and didn't care to show us her goods. She's quite the acrobatic baby since her knees appeared to be touching her nose. The technician worked for a good 10 minutes trying to get the baby to move and she would have none of that. Based on this, we should have known it's a girl and takes after me. A girl with a mind of her own, who'll do what she wants when she wants. I'm sure she'll give us a run for our money or maybe just me and Steve will be wrapped around her little finger.
I started feeling her move a few weeks ago and Steve finally got a chance to feel a kick last night. Even though I haven't gained much weight, the baby is weighing in at ~11 ozs and a heart rate of 160 bpm. So we're going to go with the answer, "It's a Girl," and let the painting and shopping begin. We expect our nursery furniture to arrive this coming week and hopefully, pick a paint color and name very soon.

Yeah!!!! Congratulations! We are so excited for you. I will start setting Kennedy's clothes from here on out if you would like since they will be the same season.(I have given her previous clothes that she has worn and outgrown away already so the clothes would be from 12-18 months on). Let me know. We love you!
