We've been home since Sunday and it's been a wild ride so far. My body's recovery has been more difficult than I expected. Kendall was a champion feeder until we got home. Nursing was a challenge for a few days but I think we're back on track now. She had her first pediatrician appointment and we are trying to get her weight back up. Hopefully, now that breastfeeding is going more smoothly, we can start piling on the pounds. She is such a wonderful baby and I can't imagine our lives without her. Steve has been amazing. I know he grew weary during the pregnancy as I continued to suffer with headaches and nausea. However, he has taken to the role of dad and does a fabulous job. Kendall truly loves him. My mom was kind enough to stay with us for a few days. She has been such a help around the house and taking care of Kendall while we rested. We continue to be amazed by the patience of Kendall as we work to figure out this parenting thing. She is such a sweet baby. Thanks for all the well wishes we received.

I am always amazed at the patience little ones have with us as we figure out the parenting thing! It is not easy at times. They teach us allot that is for sure! I love the pictures! She is so beautiful!
