Winter Park Getaway

This past weekend Steve and I decided a visit to the mountains was needed. We rented a condo at the Winter Park ski resort for 2 nights. We had such a wonderful time as a family of 3. For our trip, we decided to buy a carrier for Kendall. She loved riding close to daddy's chest. On Saturday, we went to downtown Winter Park where a veteran's motorcycle rally and parade were going on. We didn't actually stop for the parade but got to see it while taking the detour through town. We had a picnic lunch at the park and got to see helicopters land and take off. Also, the traveling Vietnam memorial wall was there. On Sunday, we traveled home via Rocky Mountain National Park. It was so wonderful to see the beautiful mountains of Colorado and enjoy a relaxing weekend. Next stop Seattle.
