Leavin' On A Jet Plane

For Labor Day weekend, we went to Seattle to visit Aaron, Jen and the kids. We flew out Friday night and Kendall did excellent on the plane. I was more worried about her on the plane than I should have been. She especially enjoyed watching TV. On Saturday, we were able to take a ferry ride. We've never done this before and driving Aaron's truck onto the ferry was pretty intimidating but we managed just fine. It's such a strange concept to live with water all around. We were able to see cruise ships and aircraft carriers. Instead of taking the ferry back, we drove back over a beautiful bridge. Sunday we got some church in and enjoyed Snoqualmie Falls and picked blackberries for ice cream. Monday, we went to Pike's Market and saw many interesting things and people. We stopped at Lake Sammamish so the kids could have some fun for themselves. Seattle is such a beautiful city and we were so amazed by the many trees and feeling of seclusion as we drove around.

It was especially fun to see Kendall and Chloe together who are only 6 weeks apart. Aaron and Jen, we had such a wonderful time and hope we can visit soon. Morgan, Braylen, and Chloe thanks for being so nice to Kendall. She loved meeting her cousins for the first time. Sofia and Mirabel, Kendall hopes to meet you soon too.
