11 Months and a Weekend Getaway

During the last weekend of April, we celebrated Kendall turning 11 months and followed Steve to Montrose for CrossFit Kids certification. Mom, Dad, and Alisa tagged along so Kendall and I wouldn't be lonely while daddy was away. We rented a vacation home and arrived on Friday evening. On Saturday, we took a drive to Ouray and stopped in Ridgway for a picnic. On Sunday, we visited the Black Canyon of the Gunnison and once again had a picnic along the river banks. It was so wonderful to enjoy our Heavenly Father's creations and spend time with family. Overall, our weekend was relaxing and enjoyable.

Kendall continues to master the art of walking and even tries to run. Her personality is really shining through these days. She loves to laugh and smile. A new favorite is mimicking things we do. Next month we'll be so exciting as we celebrate her first year.
